OUTSOURCING AMERICAN JOBS destroys Middle Class Americans. Sending AMERICAN JOBS to other nations destroys American families, communities and working people. OFFSHORE OUTSOURCING is not fair to AMERICAN WORKERS or GOOD for the United States. FREE TRADE undermines American living standards, the U.S. economy and U.S. national security. Outsourcing American jobs is legal because politicians like Barack Obama & Hillary Clinton choose corporate elites over America and average Americans.

America Sours on Free Trade (DUH!)

The business class journalists at Fortune magazine who write for the corporate management class which reads Fortune have discerned that a large and growing majority of Americans (68%) don't support free trade. Of course, the business class journalists at Fortune slant the story in a most predictable manner evident at the outset with "The backlash against free trade is growing" in readers' browser title bars and links to the story from CNN.COM. Anonymous said...: Not such a surprise when we have been drinking the Kool-Aid since 1995. I guess the word "free" trade should be the reality which is managed trade by WTO directives, so not free as our so called free enterprise system. Most politicians do not care about average Americans. Politicians get rich from corporate money, gifts and "freebies". Most politicians believe American laws should allow corporations to fire American workers and send good jobs offshore to places like India and China. Most politicians vote for laws allowing corporate "guest workers" to be used to replace American workers. Most politicians believe that corporations should be allowed to import "cheap labor" replacement workers. Most politicians serve corporations. Most politicians rollover for the pro-business Offshore Outsourcing lobby in Congress. Most politicians support policies which injure American working people.

I'm a software engineer, an Information Technology worker, opposed to the replacement of American workers with low-wage foreign workers and offshore outsourcing middle class American jobs.
I believe that most corporate, academic and political "leaders" are short-sighted, self-interested and indifferent to the general welfare of all Americans. This failure of national leadership is evident in the declining employment opportunities, living standards, savings, and real income of most Americans.
